So as you all know I have started new project &#8211; Game of Mushroom kingdoms.\u00a0The pattern is 322 by\u00a0606 stitches. So that equals to 21,252 stitches total.<\/p>\n<p>For some time now I have been thinking about investing into DMC cones. Buying skeins all the time is good, but they are expensive if you compare them to the cones. 1 skein is 8m and costs approximately, lets say, \u00a30.70. One cone on the other hand is 400m and costs about \u00a312.00. I have been buying skeins from this little on-line site called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.debscrossstitch.co.uk\/\">Debs Cross stitch<\/a>\u00a0for some time now. I contacted her and asked if she could order some cones for me and to my surprise she said yes! \ud83d\ude00 The cones arrived in very timely manor, I think I was waiting for a week. And I am so happy \ud83d\ude00 So here are my new beauties.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-995\" src=\"https:\/\/www.eponases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cones-1000x563.jpg\" alt=\"cones\" width=\"720\" height=\"405\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.eponases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cones-1000x563.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/www.eponases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cones-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.eponases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cones-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.eponases.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/cones.jpg 1920w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>I chose the most common colours in the pattern &#8211; black for borders, green for grass, blue is the sea, white &#8211; the snow and the browns are the shore line. I will use quite a lot of these and it will be a lot cheaper. Now I can stitch again \ud83d\ude00<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Heya!
