I have managed to sit on loose ones, step on them too, and am losing them all the time. My husband was very cross with me when I started to use our living room couch as a pincushion. \ud83d\ude1b<\/p>\n<p>To remedy the situation I decided to make myself a needle book. You can buy so many nice ones online, but I really want to try to make one. As I am Latvian, I have a soft spot for anything from my home country. There is a very famous historic belt pattern from a place I come in Latvia called &#8220;Lielv\u0101rdes josta&#8221;. The translation would be &#8211; the belt of Lielvarde. What I love in it is the symbolism and the fluid pattern changes. It is always red on white, so the colours are very eye catching.<\/p>\n<p>Here it is! It is going quite slow as I am stitching it on linen one over one.
